Hiranyakashipu was going out to the forest to meditate to increase his strength but just as he was going, a parrot sitting on a branch said “Narayana, Narayana, Narayana”. Hiranyakshipu thought this was bad luck to hear the name of his enemy just as he was going out. He decided not to go and went came back into the palace. His wife kayalu asked why he did not go to meditate, Hiranyakashipu said the parrot spoke the name of Narayana. Then in the conversation he repeated the name Narayana hundred and eight time and Bhakta Prahlad was born to the couple.
